A. There's nothing worse than negotiating a great price on a key item and then have to worry whether or not it will be billed correctly! With our IntelliSpend Contract Management Module, we enter all the details related to your contract, along with current freight rates when applicable, agreed upon markup or margin, and the term of the contract. On a regular schedule you will get reports showing the actual invoice cost charged, against the correct cost. If there are any deviations, you will have a detailed report ready for submission to your distributor for restitution.
A. FSIC is comprised of foodservice experts who have conducted price verifications as distributors, as well as on behalf of our operator clients. We are familiar with the requirements and execution of price verifications and can manage the process from the selection of the items for review, all the way through collecting any restitution due.
A. FSIC is continuously working with the major foodservice manufacturers in the industry, negotiating contracts on behalf of our clients. We can leverage our relationships with these manufacturers to get you the best possible contract.
A. Contact FSIC for a free review of your current distributor master agreement. In a short period of time, we can recommend strategies — whether to negotiate or extend the current contract. Sometimes extending contract is the best strategy.
A. Efficient Foodservice Response (EFR) is an industry-wide initiative to improve efficiencies in the foodservice supply chain. EFR found there to be an estimated 8% error rate in the foodservice industry. FSIC can utilize our supply chain management software to monitor pricing on all items across all distributors. We find, bill and collect all contract restitution/overcharges on a quarterly basis.
A. History has shown us that less than 5% of operators who have audit rights actually perform an annual audit. FSIC has years of experience pinpointing those key items that warrant an audit. We’ve performed detailed audits for both distributors and operators. We know where errors occur and how to find them.
A. We have developed an industry specific reporting solution that utilizes the data provided by your distributors to provide many reports that highlight errors that cost you money.
A. Our proprietary software provides you with actionable information that is most critical to your business. Often the Pareto Principal or the 80-20 rule prevails, whereby 80% of the problems come from only 20% of the items. The IntelliSpend system highlights key items that are contributing the most to high food and beverage costs.
A. IntelliSpend stores all rebate details and aggregates all purchases of rebated items across all distribution centers and delivers a report for submission to the manufacturer.
